In the heart of Rajshahi district, Durgapur Upazila, Bangladesh, we are embarking on a transformative journey with our ‘Safe Water Supply and Hygiene Support Project.’ Our mission is to install 1,000 Semi-Deep Tube wells, ensuring safe drinking water for 25,000 beneficiaries from vulnerable rural communities. Beyond quenching the community’s thirst, our project places a special emphasis on the safety and privacy of women and children. We aim to significantly reduce the time and labor involved in water collection, envisioning at least 80% of households leading healthier lives shielded from water-borne diseases. Anticipating a 95% decrease in the time and effort spent on water retrieval, we aspire to enhance the overall well-being of our community. This initiative is not merely about water; it’s about empowerment, with the potential to reduce medical expenses for 75% of participants. Join us in making a lasting impact.
