Halima Khatun (50) lives with her family of eight (8) member’s parents in Cox’s Bazar Refugee Camp since 2017 when her family was forcibly displaced by the Myanmar government. They were vandalized, burnt houses and brutally kind her husband. Having lost the only bread winner of the family didn’t bring any better. Since then, words like hunger, malnutrition and homelessness are synonymous to describe the family condition.

Where feeding the basic food is luxury for the family having meat was just a luxury. Although the family gets basic food from World Food Programme but could not enjoy meat or other nutritious food due to no income. MAUSA and GUSS provided them a great opportunity to eat meat through their qurbani project.
